What about those of us that don't use Groove in Win10 but use it on Android? Can the music be moved from Groove to OneDrive without a Win10 device? ( my Win10 device is a WinBook that won't ever get another update, it's past EOL even though it still works great for other stuff )

That is a good question - let me contact Microsoft and see what I can find out.

Does your whole streaming collection move, i.e., music you have added to 'My Music' that you don't own/didn't purchase but stream?

Once you complete the move to Spotify, can you still access Groove Music and its content? Or is everything on Groove wiped out when you make the transfer?

The only items that moved were the playlists and then Spotify Id'd my purchased music from Groove and made copies of those on the local drive from the Spotify library. No music was moved from one device/area to the other.

As I write this the Groove app on Windows 10 has become very pushy. GET TO SPOTIFY NOW! (I get the feeling they'd like to add OR ELSE to that.) What I'd like to know is what happens when I do? Does that mean its a one-way, all or nothing, never look back or else, type of deal? Once I move my music I can never again open Groove? Does it instantly turn off my Groove Music Pass, canceling it?

No - the groove Music Pass remains in effect until 31 Dec 2017.

So, if we migrate our music (playlists, purchased) we can still play it on Groove until 31 Dec. 2017? I thought it was a migrate and you're done with Groove type of thing.

I moved my playlists last week and today on a fresh install of Windows 10 I can still stream Groove Music without issue. That would indicate to me that it will remain capable of this until 31 Dec 2017.

This only pertains to music that you have purchased in Groove, correct?

I've been with groove for a long time an have a lot of music an when I move my music to the Spotify app an check some of my or albums did'n move

While I can not be 100% sure why this happened - the one thing that comes to mind is that maybe Spotify does not have a license to that particular music and so it can not be displayed/played.
